For a fast relief from swelling and pain caused by injury, you need to rest injured area as much as possible. Proper rest is necessary for repairing soft tissue damage that results due to minor injuries. More pressure on the injured area will cause more swelling, pain and late healing.

Mix equal parts of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar and water. Warm up the solution and then soak a towel in it. Wrap the wet towel around the painful area and keep it for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat the process twice a day.
Alternatively, you can also mix 2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm and drink it by adding a little honey.
Epsom salt is a great remedy when it comes to reducing swelling and pain due to injury. Loaded with magnesium sulfate, Epsom Salt relaxes stressed muscles and improves blood circulation.
You can use Epsom salt after the 48 hours of the injury. Mix 2 tablespoons of Epsom Salt in a small tub filled with warm water and soak the affected area in it for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat the same 3 times a week.
For larger injured areas such as shoulders, legs and back, you need to soak whole body in an Epsom salt bath. After this, you can apply an instant Pain Relief Spray and rest for a while.

If your hand, knee, leg and fingers are swollen, you can sit on a sofa and rest your hands or knees on the top of the pillows.
